Over the past few weeks, our team has been busy in the cupping room tasting through fresh-crop offers for our next shipment from Colombia and selecting delicious, diverse coffees to feature on our line up.

Unpacking Agricafe’s Processing Practices

Bolivia is one of our favourite countries to source coffee from, and one we have proudly represented since the early days of MCM. For over a decade, we’ve worked closely with the Rodríguez family of Agricafe Bolivia to create and build a market for Bolivian coffees in Australia, and every time we visit them we are inspired by their forward-thinking practices.

Last month, our team travelled to Rwanda for our annual sourcing trip, when we cup and select our upcoming offerings. During our time on the ground, we were delighted to travel north to meet with the Rambagirakawa women’s alliance — to share the outcome of the Supporting Strong Women campaign and tour the site of the proposed childcare centre.
