It’s time to plan for Guatemala!

Over the coming days, we’ll begin receiving offer samples from our supply partners in Guatemala, because we will be cupping to select and confirm this year’s order from our Brunswick East HQ. While these coffees will not land in Australia until the winter months, we want to hear from you to help us build our buying brief and accurately plan for the 2026 season!

We have been sourcing coffee from Guatemala since our very early days — we just can’t get enough of the different flavour profiles produced here, and feel deeply connected to the families we source from here. While the 2026 harvest experienced some delays in January, the pace has caught up in recent weeks, with reports from our partners on the ground pointing to another year of excellent quality and slightly increased yields.

We’re excited to be cupping lots from this year’s harvest later this month, including offers from the Zelaya family of Santa Clara Estate, in Antigua; Wicho Valdés of Santa Isabel, in Alta Verapaz; and Eduardo Ambrosio and the team at Prisma Coffee Origins, who connect us to small to medium-sized estates found across Guatemala. Through Prisma, we expect to receive samples from farms in Santa Rosa, Acatenango and Huehuetenango, including a handful of lots from the El Sendero Cooperative.

Now is the perfect time to let us know what coffees you are interested in for your Guatemalan line up! If you rely on a large volume line for an espresso blend, communicating your purchasing intentions early allows us to approach our selection with more security and accuracy.  As for microlots, letting us know what you’re looking for will help us secure the coffees that you love, offer exclusivity, or meet specific volume requirements.
