Small Producers of La Plata | La Plata. Huila

Farms on the cliffside municipality of La Plata, Huila sit on steep, nutrient-rich soils that are ideal for coffee-growing. Supply partners Pergamino tell us this region can be difficult to reach, especially during the rainy season, yet always a delight to source from. The latest harvest is rich and creamy, with orange, praline and black tea. This lot is the perfect addition to any coffee menu, excelling across all applications — even as a blend component!

El Diamante | Cajamarca, Tolima

Neftalí Castro is a forward-thinking, quality-focused producer who farms coffee with meticulous care and a deep respect for his family’s land. We love showcasing his lots because they are incredibly consistent and always present a distinct intensity of flavour. His latest crop is well-structured and balanced, with notes of apricot, panela sugar and cacao nibs. El Diamante makes an elegant single espresso, or a juicy and rich filter brew.

Los Nogales Pink Bourbon | Inzá, Cauca

Pillimué family matriarch María Rosa Oidor oversees every step of her 100% Pink Bourbon production during the harvest — from managing the selective picking of coffee cherry, to keeping track of the number of hours parchment spends fermenting in tank during processing, or drying under greenhouse conditions before being prepared for export. With such fastidious attention to detail, it’s no surprise her coffee is so refined, presenting jasmine florals and notes of candied orange, red grape and yellow peach.
