Small Producers of China Alta | China Alta, Tolima
We source this regional blend from producers who grow coffee in the hills surrounding the town of China Alta, Tolima every year, because it is always incredibly floral and complex. The latest crop includes contributions from a few of the region’s community leaders, including Reinaldo Parra, William Buitrago and Julio Soscue Villada, and the meticulousness of their practices truly shines in the cup. With bright acidity and syrupy mouthfeel, this lot excels across all applications thanks to its notes of lemon, cherry and hazelnut praline.
Small Producers of El Bombo | Pitalito, Huila
Back in 2016, when we first sourced this lot from members of ASOBOMBO cooperative, 12 of its 30 founders had just placed in a local competition that rewarded exceptional cup quality. Some ten years on, the co-op has expanded to hundreds of members across Huila, and is now one of Pitalito’s most exciting and celebrated coffee associations. This lively and well-structured lot is brimming with stone fruit and milk chocolate sweetness, balanced by mandarin and red grape.
