Progresso has landed!
Get excited, because the first of this season’s Brazilian offerings have landed! The line up showcases some of our favourite lots from the forward thinking Borré family of Fazenda Progresso in the region of Chapada Diamantina, who produce outstanding coffees at the foot of the majestic hills that surround the estate.
Coffees are ready to make their way out to customers around Australia and Thailand this week — for those with reserves, give us a call or shoot us an email to book your delivery now.

Sourced during our visit to Brazil in September, we’re thrilled to have Fazenda Progresso’s coffees back in stock. While this year’s estate lines sold out ahead of their arrival, the landed container includes two incredibly versatile microlots: Airumá and Sincorá, which always exhibit heaps of character and elegance.
One of the biggest takeaways from our visit last year was seeing just how much care goes into the production of Progresso’s microlots, as the family combine the use of technology and traditional practices to ensure these are refined and transparent. From the way cherries are handpicked (a rarity for an estate of Progresso’s size), to the infrared colour sorter used prior to milling, and the specially-built greenhouses each bean dries in, every step of the coffee’s processing is meticulously planned — and the results on the cupping table show it!
This year’s Airumá is rich-bodied and sweet, with notes of plum and cola; while Sincorá is sugary and silky, presenting tropical acidity balanced by dark chocolate. These are great allrounder lots, as they excel as blending components, single espresso lots and filter offerings. Check out our offer list below for more information, and reach out for landed samples because these are ready for dispatch!
