Our upcoming Colombian offerings

Last week, we landed our second container out of Colombia for 2026, with reservations now ready for dispatch. If you happened to miss out on our most recent line up of coffees, don’t worry—we’ve got more on the way!

Due to the country’s myriad microclimates and varied topography, most Colombian coffee-growing regions experience two harvests a year. Longtime supply partners Pergamino keep us in the loop with the best tasting samples of each season for us to cup and select from, ensuring we have a constant supply of distinct, delicious fresh crop offerings to match our roasting partners’ needs.

Looking ahead, our third container for the year will hit the water this month and we will soon begin confirming what should be our final Colombian offerings for 2026. For these, we intend to select coffees from the sought-after regions of Antioquia and Nariño. Read on to learn more about our buying intentions and check out our offer list for a look at our available coffees. Keen to feature a specific Colombian lot you’ve loved in the past? Get in touch and let us know what you’re looking for.

Amidst an uncertain year for many Colombian producers and exporters, we’re grateful for the support on the ground we receive from Pergamino’s team. While cup quality has remained high and overall volumes have remained relatively stable, the combination of C price volatility, erratic weather patterns and difficult farming conditions (fuelled by inflation, labour shortages and growing security risks) has increased the challenges involved in navigating the country’s most recent crop cycles.

Through their Allied Producer Program, Pergamino have built strong relationships with many coffee-growing communities across Colombia, ensuring we have continued access to exceptional coffees, regardless of climatic and market conditions. While available volumes of single estate lots have decreased, Pergamino have made up for it through their small producer regional blends, which have been tasting as good as ever. We’ve also been able to source more specially-processed, rare variety offerings from Lomaverde (which belongs to Managing Director Pedro Echavarría Jr.) and El Jardín (owned by Director of Coffee Leo Henao), giving us wider access to some of the country’s most unique lots.

For our next Colombian container, we’re expecting to land coffees from Antioquia, Tolima and Huila — including fresh stock of our decaf. This year, we’re excited to refresh this line with a stellar coffee from the Echavarría-owned Lomaverde Estate. Over the last few harvests, Pedro and the Lomaverde team have been implementing practices that mimic those he’s learned while visiting the small producers they work with across Colombia, with the goal of improving quality while streamlining operations, and we’ve been really impressed with the results we’ve tasted so far. The change will also strengthen our supply security, an important consideration for roasting partners who have come to rely on this special offering every year. We’re expecting these coffees to arrive in the Spring; if you need some decaf before then, the last few bags of San Antonio Decaf are in stock and ready for dispatch!

Along with the above regions, we will be tasting coffee from Nariño and Cauca to include in our final shipment from Pergamino for 2026. Nariño is one of the only Colombian growing regions that experiences a single harvest; this scarcity, combined with their bright, juicy and intensely sweet flavour profile, makes their coffees some of our most treasured every year.  While we’re still waiting for samples from the ongoing harvest, once we hit the cupping table we will be looking for vibrant, clean, distinct lots that shine across all brewing methods and present a true taste of place. That means, now is the perfect time to let us know of particular farms or regions you’d like to feature on your menu. Communicating your requirements ahead of purchasing helps us to accurately gauge demand for the year and is the best way to secure the coffees you love.
