Bring On 2024 — & Fresh Crop Brazil!

Get excited because we’ve just added this season’s Brazilian offerings to our list! The line up showcases some of the best lots from the forward thinking Borré family of Fazenda Progresso in the region of Chapada Diamantina, and from a tightknit community of independent farmers in Piatã, who produce some of country’s most exquisite coffees in the hills surrounding the small town.

Sourced with the help of longtime friend and mentor Silvio Leite during our most recent visit, this season’s selection offers great versatility and value — there’s something for every coffee menu! Our Progresso line up includes their excellent pulped natural and natural estate lots, which are well suited to espresso or blending applications while offering exceptional quality, consistency and longevity; along with three microlots: Airumá, Sincorá, and Gandula — all of which exhibit the great character and distinction of coffees from Chapada Diamantina.

We’re also thrilled to be adding our Piatã line up early this season! Coffees from this part of Brazil are distinctly sweet, floral and fruit-driven, the result of the year-round cooler temperatures and high elevation of the region. We’ve secured several exquisite lots from our favourite estates, including Cerca de Pedras, São Judas Tadeau, Sítio Canaã and Cafundó. We’re also happy to introduce Sítio Capão to our list, from thira-generation producer Aneiuson Souza, whose lush and fertile farm produces
exceptional lots.
