We’re Heading to Ethiopia and Kenya!

We’re starting 2023 off with a bang, as Aislinn will be traveling to Ethiopia and Kenya in just a couple of weeks! During her trip, Aislinn will be visiting farmers and washing stations whose lots we feature year-on-year, gathering more information about the communities who produce the coffees we love and further strengthening our relationships with our suppliers.

There’s so much to celebrate about 2022!

After a couple of years growing very familiar with the office walls, we emerged from our lockdown cocoon in early 2022, ready and excited to hit the road.

Bring on Brazil!

Get excited because we’ve just added the first of this season’s Brazilian offerings to our list! This early line up showcases some of the best lots grown by the forward-thinking Borré family of Fazenda Progresso in the region of Chapada Diamantina and by Fazenda EcoAgricola in the beautiful Serra do Cabral. It’s a selection that offers great versatility and value – there’s something for every coffee menu!

Ready for Rwanda?

Our fresh crop Rwandan offerings have just landed in Australia, and we are so excited to share the coffees with you! We have some exceptional lines still available, that showcase the high quality, cleanliness and versatility of this wonderful origin. Our team has cupped through the landed line up, and the coffees are tasting vibrant, distinct and ready for roasting!

Meet Angelique Karekezi

Angelique Karekezi is the powerhouse managing director of Rwashoscco, a farmer-owned marketing, exporting and roasting company through which we source many of our Rwandan offerings. Along with her peers, Angelique’s hard work and determination has been instrumental in establishing Rwanda’s specialty coffee industry and leading it towards a more sustainable and profitable future.

Bring on Bolivia!

We’re fast approaching one of the most exciting times of the year at MCM HQ: the selection of our Bolivian offerings! Our dear friends and producing partners the Rodríguez family have been hard at work for the last few weeks, harvesting and processing this year’s coffees, and we expect to taste and assess offer samples in the coming weeks.
