Bolivia End-of-Harvest Q&A

Get excited! Our Bolivian offerings have just landed and will be heading out to roasters around the country in the next few weeks.

We recently spoke to our exporting partner and good friend, Pedro Echeverría of Pergamino, to check in on the progress of the ongoing Main Crop harvest and gain a better understanding of current conditions on the ground.

Meet Marcelo & Roberto Flanzer

Marcelo and Roberto Flanzer are pioneers in Brazil’s coffee industry, as they were the first family to plant coffee in Serra do Cabral, in the state of Minas Gerais. Guatemala Shipment Update

Our third and final container from Guatemala has recently landed, and the coffees are ready to sample! Despite spending several months in-transit, the line up is tasting sweet and distinct and will suit a number of applications. We’ve already started dispatching these special coffees around the country and we can’t wait to taste them from our roasting community.

Brazil Mid-Harvest Update

Brazil is one of the most important origins we source coffee from, making up almost 40% of the containers we import each year. More importantly, the relationships we have developed with our Brazilian suppliers are incredibly close and meaningful.

Without a doubt, Rwanda’s Covid-19 response is a story of success. Our suppliers have had to show extraordinary agility, ingenuity, and strength to overcome the obstacles created by the pandemic to continue to produce and market their incredible coffees.

Each year we look forward to visiting beautiful Bolivia to spend time with the Rodríguez family, who own the exporting business Agricafé and their own Fincas Los Rodríguez.
