There’s so much to celebrate about 2022!

After a couple of years growing very familiar with the office walls, we emerged from our lockdown cocoon in early 2022, ready and excited to hit the road.

Meet Angelique Karekezi

Angelique Karekezi is the powerhouse managing director of Rwashoscco, a farmer-owned marketing, exporting and roasting company through which we source many of our Rwandan offerings. Along with her peers, Angelique’s hard work and determination has been instrumental in establishing Rwanda’s specialty coffee industry and leading it towards a more sustainable and profitable future.

As part of our deep belief in, and commitment to, responsible and sustainable business practices, we are proud and excited to announce that Melbourne Coffee Merchants is now a certified B Corporation.

2021… Another year to remember!

After the shock and unpredictability of 2020, 2021 saw our team ease into a new state of normalcy. This shift involved many, many emails, WhatsApp texts and Zoom calls as we adjusted to buying all our coffees without travel and servicing our customers from afar.
