Team MCM is hitting the road!

Through the rest of April and early May, Jo, Beau and Carlos are visiting customers in Australia and Thailand — starting off with Perth this week, followed by Brisbane the following weekend and finishing off with a trip to Bangkok in May.

After a busy few months of visiting our producing partners abroad and piecing together our next shipments from Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala, our team is excited to share insights from this year’s buying season with our roasting partners through a series of cupping events! Starting this week, we’re hitting the road to visit Perth, Brisbane and Thailand — to catch up, taste delicious coffees and talk about the people behind the incredible lots we are landing on the second half of the year. 

Jo and Beau will kick things off in Perth at an evening focusing on our incoming offerings out of Ethiopia and Kenya with our good friends Micrology on April 23rd. Jo and Carlos are then traveling to Brisbane for ASCA’s Green Coffee Market, where they will host cupping sessions on May 2nd and 3rd, showcasing lots from our most recent purchasing season — including a very early look at this year’s Guatemalan line up!

Beau will then head to Thailand to attend World of Coffee Bangkok, where she will be hosting Spotlight On: Bolivia with our good friends Samadool on Monday May 4th. Through photos and a casual cupping session, Beau will chat about her recent visit to Agricafe Bolivia’s farms and wet mills, and taste the family-owned company’s most recent coffees.
