We’ve got a few big weeks ahead…

The start of the year is always busy at MCM, and 2026 has been no different. Following our visits to Ethiopia and Kenya in January and February, we have landed several exceptional coffees from Brazil, Bolivia and Colombia, started buying for Guatemala from our HQ, and held events and visits with customers from all over Australia.

Read on for a quick overview of what we expect to be cupping, confirming and adding to our Offer List in the coming weeks!

Colombia

After landing more of the exceptional San Antonio Decaf last week, our second container out of Colombia for 2026 just hit the water! While many of the lots in this shipment have been pre-allocated to customers who placed requests earlier this year, we have just added two of Pergamino’s versatile small producer regional blends to our offer list: Small Producers of China Alta and Small Producers of San Antonio!

If you need coffees that perform well across all roast profiles — from espresso blend to pour over — check out our offer list for tasting notes and volumes, and get in touch for samples or to make a reservation with our team.

Kenya

Our fresh crop Kenyans are on their way to Australia! Earlier this month, we were blown away by the pre-shipment samples we cupped, and have now begun confirming allocated customer requests. While many of our producing partners experienced very low yields this year, overall we were able to increase our order for 2026 by buying lots from two added washing stations and by establishing relationships with a few more small estates.

We expect to have a varied line up of truly delicious and distinct coffees — think sparkling acidity, juicy mouthfeel and that classic complexity and sweetness Kenyan coffees are known for — on our offer list in the coming weeks, ahead of their arrival in June. Can’t wait until then? Let us know the volumes and flavour profile you’re after, and make a reservation with our team!

Ethiopia

We have a two full containers of delicious Ethiopian lots from Testi Specialty Coffee hitting the water this April, due to land in late June!

We’ll keep you updated on our spot line up once pre-shipment samples have been assessed by our QC team and pre-allocations have been confirmed. We’ve been sourcing coffees from Testi since 2018, so you can count on seeing many of your yearly favourites on our list once it is released. If you’d like a sneak peak of what’s on the way, get in touch to chat with our expert team.

Guatemala

We’re currently in the midst of our Guatemalan purchasing season — so if you haven’t reached out to plan your line up with us, now’s the perfect time to do so!

This year, we expect volumes and availability to remain stable, while the coffees we have tasted so far have been as transparent and refined as ever. Longtime supply partner Wicho of Santa Isabel Estate has had a particularly good 2026, and we’re excited to have more of his coffee hit our shores this year. Keen to be the first to taste incoming samples? Reach out and let us know what you’re looking for!

Rwanda

The Rwandan harvest is slowly ramping up, and we’ve begun to make plans for our 2026 sourcing trip. We will be visiting our supply partners RWASHOSCCO along with Maraba and Dukunde Kawa cooperatives this coming June, and look forward to selecting this year’s offerings on the ground — following the tremendously successful 2025 season.

If you’ve ever thought about joining us on a sourcing trip, we reckon this is a great opportunity to do so. Simply reach out, and we can talk you through our expected schedule and plans for the upcoming trip.
