It’s time to plan for Rwanda!

Next month, Fleur and Jo are heading back to Rwanda. Before we head off, we want to hear from you to help us build our buying brief and accurately plan for the 2026/27 season!

Get ready for Ethiopia!

Our fresh crop Ethiopian coffees are on the water! We have two containers bound for Melbourne and packed with exceptional offerings from Testi Specialty Coffee.

Through the rest of April and early May, Jo, Beau and Carlos are visiting customers in Australia and Thailand — starting off with Perth this week, followed by Brisbane the following weekend and finishing off with a trip to Bangkok in May.

We’ve got a few big weeks ahead…

The start of the year is always busy at MCM, and 2026 has been no different. Following our visits to Ethiopia and Kenya in January and February, we have landed several exceptional coffees from Brazil, Bolivia and Colombia, started buying for Guatemala from our HQ, and held events and visits with customers from all over Australia.

Happy birthday, Dukunde Kawa!

This March, Dukunde Kawa Cooperative celebrated their 25th anniversary! In these two decades and a half, the co-op has impacted the lives of countless Rwandan coffee farmers — playing a key role in elevating the country’s specialty coffee industry.

Celebrating ten years with Silvio Leite!

This past 2025 marked a decade since we began working with our good friend, coffee mentor and Brazilian supply partner Silvio Leite. In these ten years, we’ve seen his work in Piatã expand through the town’s community of specialty-focused producers, culminating with the founding of his own farm Cerca de Pedras.
